YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
We have tried to make our office feel as comfortable as possible. We have avoided the cold, sterile feeling that you might get walking into a healthcare office. We try to make things as efficient as possible and facilitate your initial paperwork online before you ever step foot into the office. While we are professionals at LK Institute, we are also people- and we want you to feel like you are safe to show up however you feel comfortable. Sometimes sweatpants and a day or two without a shower is the best you can do that day- and that is more than okay with us. Come as you are.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As our world circumstances required that we adapt, our therapists have all used Telehealth as an option for clients. There is research that indicates Telehealth may provide some psychological benefits that cannot occur in person- and can be tremendously convenient. We love that Telehealth allows clients to access any one of our clinicians despite what office location they may be in. We also offer in person sessions as each therapist has a home base office they practice in. We are happy to offer you both options, whichever one best suits your needs.

Telehealth
Our telehealth sessions our held via our HIPAA compliant system, Simple Practice. Clients area able to meet with their therapist in this teleconference method from their computer, laptop, table or phone. Clients may download the Simple Practice app to meet from their mobile device.
