Consultant-in-Training Program Checklist
Complete an EMDRIA approved EMDR Basic Training (must be able to present certificate of completion as verification).
Complete the EMDRIA requirements to become EMDR certified (see below).
Complete the EMDRIA requirements to become an EMDR consultant (see below).
Volunteer as practicum staff at (2) LK Institute EMDRIA approved EMDR Basic Training, including all training dates & required consultation dates.
Note: If the consultant-in-training completed their basic training through LK Institute, this will count as 1 of the required attendances.
Provide recordings of the consultant-in-training completing the following:

Provide recorded video(s) of yourself completing Safe/Calm Place Protocol and Resource Development and Installation (RDI) Protocol with client(s).

Provide recorded video(s) of yourself completing phases 3-7 of an EMDR target with client(s).

Provide recorded video(s) of yourself completing phase 8 with client(s).

Provide recoded video(s) of yourself completing Future Template with client(s).

Must be able to provide a new recording if Consultant provides feedback and requests correction.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of how and when to utilize Cognitive Interweaves.

Must become familiar with identifying dissociation and how to treat it when it comes up. Must be able to describe when to use Cognitive Interweaves vs Parts Work.
Complete 15 hours of consultation with an LK Institute Consultant.
