EMDR FOR MORE THAN TRAUMA
This presentation is a refresher course that reviews the core components of EMDR Psychotherapy as it relates to commonly forgotten procedures, interventions, and treatment plan applications. The program will provide guidance in how to identify and troubleshoot stuck points, solutions for blocked processing and practical applications for case conceptualization.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
•Identify core tenants of EMDR Psychotherapy to practice with fidelity to the protocol.
•Demonstrate understanding of all 8 Phases through practicum experiences.
•Differentiate appropriate and inappropriate strategies for blocked processing.
Prerequisites
Participants are only eligible to participate in this training if you are a licensed professional able to practice psychotherapy and have completed an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training. Participants will be required to submit proof that they have completed their EMDR Basic Training prior to this training's start date.
